Acne Blackheads

Acne blackheads are formed just like any other type of acne but it’s the size and color that determine it’s type.

So How Do Blackheads Differ From Whiteheads?

Blackheads are also known as open comedones because the infection is open to the air which causes oxidation and gives it its characteristic black color.  Whereas whiteheads are the opposite and are referred to as closed comedones because the infection is below the surface.

How Do I Treat Acne Blackheads?

The best treatment involves removing the culprits that cause the blackheads to form.  These are excess oil and dead skin cells that block the pores and cause infection and a good breeding environment for Propionibacterium acnes (the acne causing bacteria).

Another key to treating blackheads, just like any condition, is to be consistent.  If it says you have to apply it twice a day for several months to get rid of your blackheads then make sure you do it.  Don’t start a regime and then give up after a week or two.  You’ve got to give your treatment time to do its job!

There are so many blackhead treatments that it can be difficult to decide which one to try.  From experience many people recommend trying Clear Pores or ZENMED Derma cleanse system to get rid of blackheads.

The main reason is that both these treatments are made from natural ingredients which reduces the likelihood of side effects and irritation.

They both also offer a 100% money back guarantee which shows that they believe in their product.  It also means you can test it out risk free in case you don’t get similar results like other users.
